Patty DeDominic talks with Helen Torres, Executive Directors and CEO of HOPE (Hispanics Organized for Political Equality) HOPE www.latinas.org is a non-profit, non-partisan women’ organization committed to ensuring political and economic parity for Latinas and advocating for Latina representation as decision-makers and community leaders.
Helen’s tips include encouraging people to:

2. Register to Vote and mobilize your own family to vote! Kids are never too young to learn about voting.
3. Build relationships and “even if your first job is not your career, still give it 120%, give it your all.”
