Ellen Lapham, alone on Mt Everest, learns that while she can count on herself for survival there is an incredible value to doing the hard work to pick the right term and nurture it for results. “You’ve got to have a team, it’s hard to build one but having a treat team makes a big difference in business and in life.” She also found that great pleasure comes from stopping to smell the roses or as in her case, to sit down and enjoy the view. (while in the world’s highest mountains) Ellen knows the power of being in the moment and while she is fiercely independent she loves to work in strong and powerful teams.
Cathi Lamberti discovered a new level of freedom after surviving a near death experience as a young teacher in South Africa. She tells Patty DeDominic and Maureen Ford “I feel like I lost my life and got it back. So today I live from my heart following a golden thread, the blueprint for my life.” She’s driven to service as an educator and continues as an educator/entrepreneur who wishes to impact the lives and health of millions of people.
Political consultant and entrepreneurial trainer, Eileen Padberg had a mentor who helped her value her previous experience and see her own potential with more confidence. Today she is empowering others in the USA and has done so on a special contract to train entrepreneurial women in Iraq. She believes in giving respect, and helping others build self-esteem.
“Self Confidence is the key to making positive changes in your life. Take on big challenges or projects in pieces to make it do-able.”
Her advice for others is to “Find a way to make a difference for others every day. It will help you too.”
